Soundtrack Notes: Madden ’08

Keeping with the tradition of saying a little something about Madden soundtracks each year, I bring you Madden ’08. It falls in the same part of the spectrum as the previous year’s game, not nearly as good as 2004, but better than 2005 or ’06. The rock tracks have more of a screamo/pop-punk edge to them, compared to previous versions when it was definitely more alternative.

Highlights

  1. From Autumn to Ashes – Daylight Slaving
  2. Zion-I & The Grouch – Hit ‘Em
  3. Queens of the Stone Age – 3’s & 7’s
  4. The Used – The Ripper
  5. Yellowcard – Fighting
  6. Swizz Beats – It’s Me Snitches (censored version of “It’s Me Bitches”)
  7. Atreyu – Becoming
