MLB History In Question?

If I were to say Black Sox, what do you think of?

Apparently, a 1920 court document that is now up on the website for the Chicago History Museum, sworn testimony from Eddie Cicotte, a member of the Black Sox scandal, claims that the year before, when the Cubs played the Red Sox in the 1918 World Series, several members of the Cubs team were offered bribes to throw the series.

I’m not going to get too deep into it (because I could go on for hours), but I’ll put down some references for you to check out the information yourself.
