Update, Sports Recap, and Picks For Upcoming Games

Business has been kind of slow at The Zephyr Lounge lately, and part of the reason for that has to do with little bits of Zephyr Lounge goodness being started and then canned. Apparently, the recipes for social media deliciousness have actually been not quite so delicious as of late.

So, real quick. Before we get to the meat of this entry (NFL Week 4 and NCAA Week 5 picks). Let me give you a quick rundown on how the first week of this experiment has panned out.

  • Vinny, Fletcher, and Father Philip attempted to disqualify me because I correctly picked the Chiefs to beat the Eagles a week ago. They claimed I had “advanced knowledge”.
  • Fletcher picked the winners and losers of this weekend’s NFL games so badly that he drank himself into the emergency room.
  • All four of us kicked some serious ass when it came to picking college football winners and losers (a combined 55-13 with 59 points), but we all pretty much sucked with the NFL picks (a combined 26-34 with 37 points). Father Philip is the only one of us to break .500 on NFL picks for Week 3.

So, this brings us to the meat of this entry. Let’s lobby the picks.

CaptureAs you can see (I hope), Father Philip is getting behind the one-point victories thing.

Anyway, as I stated before, we are trying to keep getting content out to you all from the factory that is the Zephyr Lounge. Please be patient.

About Robert L. Franklin

Ah, the About Me section - social networking's excuse for you sounding like an elitist prick. Hmm... what to say? What to say?
